Williams, Slaton lead Texans past Jags (AP)
Steve Slaton wanted the ball more. So the rookie marched up to Houston coach Gary Kubiak at halftime, grabbed him by the shirt and told him so. NFL could rule on doping appeals Tuesday (AP)
Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson and several other players could learn on Tuesday the results of their appeals to the NFL of suspensions for a positive doping test. Angelo Wright, Jackson's agent, told The Associated Press on Monday that "We think it will be tomorrow." Wright said he is confident Jackson will continue playing, no matter the result of the appeal with NFL officials.

Patriots to play Bucs in London in 2009 (AP)
The New England Patriots will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season at Wembley Stadium, the third straight year the NFL will stage a regular-season game in the British capital.
