Though somewhat hidden; once discovered The Cajun Crab sticks out as a unique and welcoming restaurant. It is a refreshing change from the mundane dining experience and will certainly convince customers to visit again. Founded in 2005 by Ken and Diane Foster, The Cajun Crab provides customers with a distinctive style and excellent seafood cuisine. When the Foster’s noticed the lack of variety in Frederick’s dining choices they chose to open a casual restaurant with an emphasis on Cajun and Maryland style Seafood, their favorites. The restaurant boasts a variety of New Orleans style favorites starting with appetizers like the hot Cajun Crab Dip or Maryland favorites like steamed spice shrimp or crab soup. Diners can follow with spicy entrees such as Jambalaya, New Orleans Style Catfish, or the blackened chicken or fish of the day. Although much of the menu is composed of dishes that will satisfy the most adventurous there is plenty to offer for the regular seafood lover as well. Let’s not forget CRABS, from all you can eat to crabs by the dozen EAT IN or CARRY OUT. We have them and at some of the best prices in town and what’s CRABS with out an Ice cold beer to go with it.
